About Us

VISION

By the end of 2030, all Loocaños are free from poverty, living in progressive and safe society.

MISSION

To provide accessible and responsive Social Protection program and services for and with the poor, vulnerable and disadvantaged.

GOALS

  • Availability of Human resource /staff to implement Social Protection Programs and services/clientele groups. (approval of proposed organizational chart)
  • Provision of preventive, protective, and rehabilitative and developmental programs and services
  • With functional Office of the Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) Office
  • With Functional Person with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO)
  • With functional Livelihood Center for PWD, Senior Citizens, Solo Parents, Women and other sector of the community

MANDATE

To coordinate with government agencies and NGOs which have for their purpose in the promotion and protection of all the needy, disadvantaged, unprivileged or impoverished groups, or individuals, particularly those identified to be vulnerable and high-risk exploitation and neglect;

To ensure the provision of legislation related to Social Welfare Development, promote, support and coordinate the establishment, expansion, maintenance and provision of people's organization that can best provide them.
